Calling all Vocalists!

Our choirs are filled with children lifting their voices in song! If you love to sing and want to learn to read music and improve your voice.

Our choir students participate in UIL Region Contest, UIL Concert and Sightreading, UIL Solo and Ensemble Contest, school concerts and invitation events. If you are serious about training your voice and learning to read music, Johnston is the place for you!

• Non-Varsity Tenor-Bass Choir and Varsity Mixed Choir win Sweepstakes at UIL Competition
• 68 gold medals at UIL Solo and Ensemble
• Beginning Treble and Tenor-Bass choirs receive Sweepstakes trophies at Katy 6th grade festival.
• More Region Honor Choir students than any other middle school in Alief, Katy, or HISD.
