Kickstart Competition
On February 20, 2010 the JMS KickStart Karate Team competed in the KickStart Spring Tournament at Dulles Middle School. Several of our students competed and and won multiple medals. The medalists are now qualified for the city finals on April 10. Congratulations to the students and their teacher, Christie Douglas-Stinson for these wonderful results!

Art Student wins National Competition!
Congratulations! A seventh grader, Jordyn Williams is to receive a national award for her Scholastic Art piece. Johnston Middle School is very pleased to announce she is a Gold Medal Winner. Her artwork will be sent to New York City for exhibition in the World Financial Center for the National Celebration scheduled for June 9 and 10, 2010.
