Johnston Middle School student, Xonzy Gaddis, received the wonderful news that her work, "Waking Up" has been featured on the Green Screen Adventures' website! GSA is a national television series for children that features stories, reports and poems written and illustrated by students, 1st through 8th grade. We are Johnston Proud of Xonzy!
The girls were asked about the accomplishments of the Johnston Middle School Broadcast class in the National Competition held in Kansas City, MO this past November. The competing group from Johnston brought home many 1st place wins and were the only middle schools competing with high schools in that competition. This is very exciting for these students who are studying a curriculum that is Television News casting!
