Johnston students had the opportunity to meet with two very famous Manga artists for two presentations at Johnston Middle School through our LOTE (Languages Other Than English) department. The books and cartoons are very popular with young people and our students were fascinated with the process of creating these works.

Our appreciation goes to Mr. Go Ochiai, who set up the visit through the Japanese Embassy, for providing this opportunity for learning about other cultures.
