Johnston Science Students Reach for the Stars!

“Are they related?”, “Is Your House Disappearing?”, and “What can change rust?” are a few of the Honorable Mention Science projects by Johnston students. These students include Jonathan Farley, Stephen Perykins, James Ragan, Meghan Miller, Luke Ward and John Gregg. Congratulations to these students for their Honorable Mention status in the preliminary process!

The following winners will represent Johnston Middle School at the Regional Science Fair and if they win there, they will go on to the District Science Fair.  The students that will go to the Regional Fair are Daniel Schepp – Magnetic Force , Jonathan Maislin – Magnetic Turbocharger, Misty Birtcher, Sara Cunningham – Sweeter isn’t always better, Cameron Osterhaus – Burn baby burn, Lewis McAdow – Eye vs. hand dominance, Cassie O’Sullivan, Courney Morgan – Bacteria in the bayou, Taylor Clay – Plants of Different Types, and Gabriel Klurfan – Paper Fighters.

The Regional Science Fair winners are Daniel Schepp and Cameron Osterhaus and they will be going to the Houston Science Fair. We are Johnston Proud of all these students!
