Welcome to the magical world of theatre! Here, students gain both theoretical and first-hand experience in all areas of theatrical production, including acting, directing, design, and technical theatre. Through rigorous theatrical training, students learn the virtues of collaboration, creative thinking, and self-discipline. They also gain a great deal of self-confidence on the journey!

After their first year in theatre arts, students have the option of moving into either the acting or technical theatre class. Second and third year students also have the opportunity to audition for JMS’ Advanced Production Company, a select group of talented, dedicated students who meet after school every other day to produce and perform in all of our high caliber theatre department productions.

Ms. Wittels is looking for creative, open-minded, and hard-working students who are passionate about theatre to join the team!
